My Favorite Blogs of 2015

I enjoy blogging and appreciate those of you who take the time to read Teresa of Avila Turns 500. But I also benefit from what others publish. When reading blogs, I look for several things: original content, quality of the writing/art, and interesting material.

Here are my favorite blogs in 2015 (in no particular order).

  • La Audacia de Aquiles: A spectacular blog on Greek and Roman mythology, art, poetry, literature, etc.
  • Graffiti Lux and Murals/ Luxuriating in Ephemeral Art: An impressive documentation of street art. Even the name of this blog is magnificent. (I should also note Janet, my wife, submitted some pictures Resa Published.)
  • Brain Pickings: If your goal were to get an education (verses get a degree), I would recommend reading Brain Pickings over college. Yes – this blog is that good.

My inadequate descriptions of the blogs hardly do justice to the high quality material these authors are sharing, so I encourage you to visit their sites.

Happy New Year!
